Terms of Service

This Terms of Service agreement outlines the conditions under which HypeTech operates. By accessing our web services, products, or licensed tools, you agree to these terms.

Covered services

The services covered by this agreement include any product or service that relies on our servers. This agreement applies to web-accessible products, licensed tools, and services available "inworld" through third-party platforms such as Second Life.

Service availability

HypeTech takes reasonable steps to maintain the integrity of the products and services it provides. However, we accept no liability for losses resulting from service interruptions, security breaches, or data loss, even if caused by HypeTech.

We do not guarantee the performance or availability of our products or services, nor the reliability of third-party systems they may depend on. HypeTech reserves the right to revoke access to any product or service in cases of agreement violations, attacks, or abuse. This includes access to web services, inworld terminals, or licensed products and services.

Account security

HypeTech is not responsible for issues arising from password sharing. You are solely responsible for any problems resulting from such actions.

If we detect a security breach in your account, HypeTech reserves the right to suspend access pending a full investigation.

Intellectual property

Attempting to circumvent rights restrictions on HypeTech products or services is strictly prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Reverse engineering source code or scripts.

  • Unauthorized access to products, services, or systems.

  • Redistributing products or services without explicit authorization.

Selling or distributing content that infringes on others' intellectual property rights through HypeTech products or services is also strictly forbidden.

Assault and harassment

HypeTech products and services must not be used to harass, harm, or annoy others. This includes:

  • Creating, distributing, or selling griefing tools.

  • Sending unsolicited mass marketing or harmful communications.

HypeTech reserves the right to revoke access in cases of harassment, abuse, or agreement violations.

Prohibited Uses

HypeTech products or services must not be used for illegal activities under U.S., Spanish, or international law, or in violation of third-party platform terms. Prohibited uses include, but are not limited to:

  • Fraud.

  • Distribution or sale of illegal materials.

  • Money laundering.

  • Distribution, sale, or display of child exploitation materials.

Reselling services or providing them to unauthorized third parties is not allowed. Services are intended exclusively for the purchasing avatar and licensed users.

Support

Support is provided exclusively to the avatar that purchased the product or service. Exceptions may apply if the product or service is explicitly enabled for another avatar.

HypeTech offers support only in English and Spanish and does not provide technical assistance to partners, affiliates, or clients of its customers.

Support is provided on a best-effort basis, with no guarantees regarding timeliness or quality. HypeTech reserves the right to deny support for altered products or services.

Transfers

HypeTech is not liable for third-party actions affecting your account (e.g., bans in Second Life) and will not transfer products or services to another avatar under any circumstances. New avatars must purchase their own products or services.

Refunds

HypeTech does not provide refunds. However, refunds may be issued at HypeTech’s sole discretion in exceptional cases.
